What is the best speaker for a banquet hall in Spain?

A banquet hall hosts both speeches and live bands, so the sound system must deliver clear speech and full-range music. Column loudspeakers like the SSOUNDS LC8.2 and LC16.2 provide controlled vertical coverage, keeping sound off the ceiling and floor to improve intelligibility. For music, point-source boxes from the M series paired with subwoofers deliver the required SPL and low-frequency extension. Ceiling loudspeakers (CL6, CL8) suit low ceilings or distributed systems, while P series models (P4, P5, P6T, P10T, P12T) offer flexible installation, with T models for 70/100 V lines.

Selection depends on room size, shape, and ceiling height. For speech-only in a low-ceiling hall, a distributed ceiling system or slim columns work well. For live bands, a left-right point-source system with subwoofers is typical. Use SSOUNDS A series networked amplifiers with DSP and Dante for simple preset switching between speech and music, and to manage feedback control. Wireless microphones integrate easily.

Sizing starts with coverage: map the room and choose loudspeakers that cover the audience evenly. For speech, aim for high intelligibility with minimal reverberation; for music, ensure enough headroom for peaks. SSOUNDS engineers use AI-assisted acoustic modeling to predict coverage and optimize presets before installation. We design and install systems across Spain, supported from our UK and European base.
