What is the best speaker for an office in São Paulo?
Hızlı yanıt
For an office in São Paulo requiring background music, paging and sound masking, the best speaker type is a ceiling loudspeaker on a 70/100 V line, such as the SSOUNDS CL6 or CL8, paired with A series networked amplifiers with DSP and Dante. For spaces with high ceilings or where ceiling installation is impractical, SSOUNDS slim column loudspeakers (LC8.2, LC16.2) or install loudspeakers (P4, P5, P6T, P10T, P12T) provide controlled coverage.
Open plan offices and meeting rooms demand even coverage at low SPL for background music and masking, with clear intelligibility for paging. Ceiling loudspeakers are ideal because they distribute sound uniformly and minimise hotspots. The SSOUNDS CL6 and CL8 ceiling loudspeakers are designed for 70/100 V line operation, allowing multiple units to be run on a single amplifier channel with simple tapping for power levels. This makes them efficient for large open areas and easy to zone.
For spaces with high or exposed ceilings, or where ceiling installation is not possible, SSOUNDS slim column loudspeakers (LC8.2 and LC16.2) offer tight vertical coverage and can be wall mounted. The SSOUNDS install range also includes P4, P5, P6T, P10T and P12T loudspeakers; the T models operate on 70/100 V lines and are suitable for distributed systems. M series point-source boxes and subwoofers can be added for meeting rooms requiring fuller range audio.
Selection and sizing depend on ceiling height, room dimensions and ambient noise. For typical office ceilings (2.7 to 3.5 m), ceiling loudspeakers spaced at 4 to 6 metres provide overlapping coverage. In open plan areas, use more loudspeakers at lower levels to improve masking and speech privacy. Meeting rooms benefit from dedicated zones with local control. Networked amplifiers such as the SSOUNDS A series with DSP and Dante allow zone control, paging priorities and EQ presets for different room types.
