What is the best speaker for a school in Frankfurt?

Schools need speech clarity for young listeners, even coverage, and simple control. In corridors and for paging, 70/100 V line ceiling loudspeakers such as the SSOUNDS CL6 and CL8 provide discreet, tamper-resistant mounting and easy zoning. For assembly halls and sports halls, where longer throw and higher SPL are required, SSOUNDS LC8.2 and LC16.2 slim column loudspeakers or M series point-source boxes deliver controlled coverage and intelligibility. The P4, P5, P6T, P10T and P12T install loudspeakers cover a range of installation needs, with T models running on a 70/100 V line for distributed systems.

Selection starts with the room: ceiling height, reverberation, and the critical listening area. For speech, aim for a consistent direct-to-reverberant ratio, using columns in highly reverberant halls to keep energy off the ceiling and walls. Sports halls often need higher SPL and rugged grilles, while classrooms may use ceiling or small point-source models. SSOUNDS engineers use AI-assisted acoustic modeling to predict coverage and intelligibility before installation, ensuring every seat receives clear sound.

Sizing and amplification: count the loudspeakers per zone, calculate the total tap power on 70/100 V lines, and allow headroom. SSOUNDS A series networked amplifiers with DSP and Dante provide the processing, routing, and control needed for multiple zones, with simple wall controllers for staff. Tamper-resistant mounts and grilles are standard for school environments. For a project in Frankfurt, SSOUNDS provides design, supply, and commissioning from its UK and European base, with support across the region.
