What is the best speaker for an office in Accra?

Offices in Accra typically need three audio functions: background music, paging, and sound masking. The right loudspeaker system must provide even coverage at low SPL, maintain speech intelligibility for announcements, and allow independent zone control. A 70/100 V line distribution system with ceiling loudspeakers is the standard approach because it allows many speakers on a single amplifier channel with simple level tapping per speaker.

SSOUNDS install range includes several suitable options. For most open plan and meeting room ceilings, the CL6 and CL8 ceiling loudspeakers are ideal: they are compact, low profile, and designed for even coverage. Where a ceiling is not available or where a slim column is preferred, the LC8.2 and LC16.2 slim column loudspeakers provide controlled vertical dispersion and can be wall mounted. For larger spaces or higher SPL requirements, the P4, P5, P6T, P10T and P12T install loudspeakers (T models run on 70/100 V lines) offer more output. The M series point-source boxes and subwoofers can be added for premium audio in executive areas or training rooms.

Sizing and selection depend on ceiling height, room size, and desired SPL. In open plan offices, ceiling loudspeakers are typically spaced to achieve overlap at listener height, often with 3 to 6 metre spacing for 2 to 4 metre ceilings. Meeting rooms benefit from dedicated zones with local level control. Sound masking is achieved by playing a low level broadband noise through the same ceiling speakers or dedicated masking speakers, tuned to reduce speech privacy issues. SSOUNDS A series networked amplifiers with DSP and Dante provide the processing, zone routing, and network audio distribution needed for a scalable office system.
