What is the best speaker for a conference room in Frankfurt?

Conference rooms prioritise speech intelligibility, even coverage and discreet integration with video conferencing systems. Ceiling loudspeakers such as the SSOUNDS CL6 and CL8 are ideal for low ceilings and distributed audio, providing consistent coverage without visual intrusion. For rooms with higher ceilings or where ceiling installation is impractical, slim column loudspeakers like the LC8.2 and LC16.2 offer controlled vertical dispersion and excellent speech clarity. Where higher SPL or music reinforcement is needed, SSOUNDS P series install loudspeakers (P4, P5, P6T, P10T, P12T) deliver point-source performance, with T models supporting 70/100 V line operation for long cable runs.

Selection and sizing depend on room dimensions, seating layout and acoustic treatment. For a typical 8 to 12 person room, two to four ceiling loudspeakers or a single column loudspeaker can suffice. Larger boardrooms may require multiple ceiling units or a pair of point-source speakers. SSOUNDS A series networked amplifiers with DSP and Dante provide the processing, routing and echo cancellation integration needed for video calls. Beamforming microphones and one-touch control systems can be integrated for a complete solution.

SSOUNDS designs and installs conference room audio systems across Frankfurt, leveraging our UK and European engineering resources. We work with integrators, consultants and facility managers to specify the right loudspeakers, amplifiers and DSP for each space, ensuring speech is natural and intelligible, and the system is reliable and easy to operate.
