What is the best speaker for an office in Barcelona?

Offices need a sound system that supports background music, paging and sound masking without disrupting the working environment. In open plan areas, ceiling loudspeakers on a 70/100 V line provide even coverage and simple zoning. For meeting rooms, slim column loudspeakers or point-source boxes offer higher intelligibility for speech. The choice depends on ceiling height, room geometry and the level of sound masking required.

SSOUNDS offers a range of install loudspeakers for offices. The CL6 and CL8 ceiling loudspeakers are ideal for open plan spaces, with 70/100 V line operation for long cable runs and multiple units per zone. The LC8.2 and LC16.2 slim column loudspeakers suit high ceilings or spaces with glass walls, delivering controlled vertical dispersion. The P4, P5, P6T, P10T and P12T install loudspeakers (T models run on a 70/100 V line) provide flexible options for different room sizes and SPL requirements. M series point-source boxes and subwoofers can be used where higher output or low-frequency extension is needed, such as in larger meeting rooms or presentation areas.

For control and amplification, SSOUNDS A series networked amplifiers with DSP and Dante allow zone control, paging and sound masking to be managed over a network. This enables different zones to receive different audio sources or masking levels, and simplifies integration with existing IT infrastructure. When selecting loudspeakers, consider the ceiling height, the desired coverage pattern, the ambient noise level and the need for speech intelligibility. For open plan offices, ceiling loudspeakers spaced evenly will provide consistent coverage; for meeting rooms, column loudspeakers can focus sound on the listeners and reduce spill.

SSOUNDS designs and installs across Barcelona, working with system integrators, consultants and facility managers to specify the right system for each office. Our engineering team uses acoustic modeling to predict coverage and optimise loudspeaker placement, ensuring that the system meets the requirements of the space.
