What is the best speaker for an office in Hong Kong?

Office audio in Hong Kong typically requires three functions: background music, paging, and sound masking. The most effective approach is a distributed ceiling loudspeaker system on a 70/100 V line, which allows long cable runs with low loss and simple parallel connection. SSOUNDS CL6 and CL8 ceiling loudspeakers are designed for this, providing wide, even coverage at low levels. For spaces with high ceilings or where ceiling installation is not possible, SSOUNDS LC8.2 and LC16.2 slim column loudspeakers offer controlled vertical coverage and can be wall mounted. In larger open plan areas or where higher SPL is needed for paging clarity, SSOUNDS P4, P5, P6T, P10T and P12T install loudspeakers (T models for 70/100 V line) or M series point-source boxes and subwoofers can be used.

Selection and sizing depend on ceiling height, room geometry, and target SPL. For typical office ceilings (2.7 to 3.5 m), ceiling loudspeakers spaced at 4 to 6 m intervals provide overlapping coverage for even sound. In meeting rooms, a single ceiling loudspeaker or a small column may suffice. For sound masking, the goal is a uniform, low level broadband noise, so more loudspeakers at lower output is better than fewer at higher output. Paging can be routed via the network to all or selected zones.
