What is the best speaker for an office in Nashville?

Offices need even background music, clear paging and effective sound masking across open plan areas and meeting rooms. Ceiling loudspeakers on a 70/100 V line are the standard choice because they distribute sound evenly, are unobtrusive and allow simple zone control. SSOUNDS install range includes the CL6 and CL8 ceiling loudspeakers, which are designed for speech intelligibility and music quality in commercial spaces.

For spaces with high ceilings or where ceiling mounting is not possible, SSOUNDS offers the LC8.2 and LC16.2 slim column loudspeakers. These provide controlled vertical coverage and can be wall mounted, making them suitable for lobbies, corridors and meeting rooms. The P4, P5, P6T, P10T and P12T install loudspeakers (T models run on a 70/100 V line) are also available for larger areas or where higher SPL is required. M series point source boxes and subwoofers can be added for premium audio in executive areas or training rooms.

Selection and sizing depend on ceiling height, room dimensions, ambient noise level and the required SPL. For typical open plan offices, ceiling loudspeakers spaced to give overlapping coverage at ear height work well. Meeting rooms may need separate zones with local volume control. Sound masking is achieved by playing a low level broadband signal through the ceiling loudspeakers, often integrated with the paging system. SSOUNDS A series networked amplifiers with DSP and Dante provide the processing, routing and zone control needed, and can be networked for centralized management.
