What is the best speaker for a conference room in Jeddah?

Conference rooms demand clear speech from both table microphones and video calls, with no hotspots or dead zones. Ceiling loudspeakers such as the SSOUNDS CL6 and CL8 provide even coverage and blend into the architecture, while slim column models like the LC8.2 and LC16.2 offer controlled vertical dispersion for wall-mounted installations where ceiling access is limited. For larger rooms or combined spaces, SSOUNDS P4, P5, P6T, P10T and P12T install loudspeakers (T models for 70/100 V lines) deliver higher SPL and can be paired with M series point-source boxes and subwoofers if low-frequency reinforcement is needed.

Selection depends on room size, ceiling height and acoustic treatment. As a guide, ceiling loudspeakers should be spaced to achieve overlapping coverage at ear height, typically every 3 to 4 metres for a 3 metre ceiling, with the quantity calculated to keep variation within 3 dB across the seating area. Column loudspeakers suit rooms with reflective surfaces because their narrow vertical pattern reduces floor and ceiling reflections. For all installations, SSOUNDS A series networked amplifiers with DSP and Dante provide the processing, routing and echo cancellation integration required for video conferencing, and simple one-touch control can be configured through the system DSP.

SSOUNDS designs and installs across Jeddah, with support from our offices in the United Kingdom, United States, Nigeria, Ghana and West Africa. We work with system integrators, consultants and venue technical directors to specify the right loudspeakers, amplifiers and control systems for each space.
