What is the best speaker for a boardroom in Paris?

A boardroom demands speech clarity, even coverage, and minimal visual intrusion. SSOUNDS offers several options: ceiling loudspeakers (CL6, CL8) for low ceilings and uniform coverage; slim column loudspeakers (LC8.2, LC16.2) for wall mounting and controlled vertical dispersion; and install loudspeakers (P4, P5, P6T, P10T, P12T) for higher SPL or when a more traditional box is acceptable. The T models operate on 70/100 V lines for long cable runs and multiple speakers.

For most boardrooms, a distributed ceiling system with CL6 or CL8 provides excellent speech intelligibility and a clean look. If the room has high ceilings or glass walls, column loudspeakers like the LC8.2 or LC16.2 can direct sound precisely at listeners, reducing reflections. For larger boardrooms or those needing video conferencing, P series models with A series networked amplifiers (with DSP and Dante) offer flexible integration and control.

Sizing guidance: For rooms up to 30 square metres, two to four CL6 or CL8 ceiling speakers suffice. For 30 to 60 square metres, consider four to six ceiling speakers or a pair of LC8.2 columns. Larger spaces may need LC16.2 columns or P series boxes with subwoofers (M series) for full-range audio. Always use SSOUNDS A series amplifiers with DSP to tune the system to the room and ensure consistent coverage.
