What is the best speaker for a conference room in Rome?
빠른 답변
For a conference room in Rome, the best speaker type is a discreet ceiling or column loudspeaker system with integrated DSP, such as SSOUNDS CL6 or CL8 ceiling loudspeakers or LC8.2 or LC16.2 slim columns, driven by SSOUNDS A series networked amplifiers with Dante. This delivers even speech coverage, intelligibility, and seamless integration with beamforming microphones and echo cancellation.
Conference rooms prioritise speech intelligibility, even coverage, and unobtrusive integration. Ceiling loudspeakers like the SSOUNDS CL6 and CL8 are ideal for low ceilings and distributed systems, providing consistent level and clarity across the table. For rooms with higher ceilings or where ceiling access is limited, SSOUNDS LC8.2 and LC16.2 slim column loudspeakers offer controlled vertical dispersion and can be wall-mounted, keeping sound focused on the seating area. Where higher SPL or music playback is required, SSOUNDS P4, P5, P6T, P10T, and P12T install loudspeakers or M series point-source boxes and subwoofers can be specified.
Selection depends on room size, ceiling height, and acoustic treatment. For a typical 8 to 12 person room, four to six ceiling loudspeakers on a 70/100 V line (T models) with an SSOUNDS A series amplifier provide even coverage. Larger boardrooms may need eight or more ceiling units or a pair of column loudspeakers per side. Always model coverage with SSOUNDS AI-assisted acoustic prediction to avoid gaps and excessive reverberation. Integrate with beamforming microphones and DSP echo cancellation via Dante for video calls.
SSOUNDS designs and installs across Rome, with engineering support from our UK and European HQ. We work with system integrators, consultants, and venue technical directors to specify the right loudspeakers, amplifiers, and DSP for each space. For a conference room, the goal is natural speech, simple one-touch control, and reliable performance.
