What is the best speaker for a conference room in Charlotte?
Quick answer
For a conference room in Charlotte, the best speaker depends on ceiling height, room size and speech intelligibility goals. SSOUNDS recommends its CL6 or CL8 ceiling loudspeakers for discreet, even coverage, or LC8.2 and LC16.2 slim column loudspeakers for rooms with high ceilings or glass walls, paired with A series networked amplifiers with DSP and Dante.
Conference rooms demand clear speech from both table talk and video calls. The right speaker must deliver consistent coverage, low distortion and seamless integration with beamforming microphones and DSP echo cancellation. SSOUNDS install range includes ceiling, column and point-source options to match any room geometry.
For standard ceiling heights (2.4 to 3 metres), CL6 and CL8 ceiling loudspeakers provide even coverage and a discreet look. In rooms with high ceilings, glass walls or hard floors, LC8.2 and LC16.2 slim column loudspeakers control vertical dispersion and reduce reflections. Larger boardrooms or divisible spaces may benefit from P4, P5, P6T, P10T or P12T install loudspeakers, with T models running on 70/100 V lines for long cable runs. M series point-source boxes and subwoofers handle premium multimedia playback when required.
Sizing follows a simple rule: one ceiling loudspeaker per 15 to 25 square metres for speech, with overlap for even coverage. Column loudspeakers should be mounted at ear height or slightly above, aimed at the listening area. SSOUNDS A series networked amplifiers with DSP and Dante provide the processing, routing and control needed for one-touch operation and integration with beamforming microphones.
