O XTO 8P é o elemento compacto do Sistema XTO: dois drivers de 8″ e um driver de compressão de 3″ cruzados a 900 Hz entregam 107 dB de sensibilidade e 141 dB de pico, de 55 Hz a 20 kHz. Ele compartilha o formato de gabinete e o rigging com o XTO 10P, travando diretamente abaixo dele como downfill, com pinos de abertura de 0° a 10° codificados por cores e conectividade NL4. Teatros, casas de culto, AV corporativo: pedigree completo de sistema, e a mesma linguagem de rigging e presets das maiores configurações da linha.

Measurement conditions

Maximum SPL is the peak level at 1 m, driven with pink noise at crest factor 4 to the clipping point of the recommended amplifier, with the SSOUNDS system preset applied. Full-range enclosures are specified under free-field conditions; figures marked half-space are specified over a reflecting plane, the condition subwoofers are deployed in, which adds approximately 6 dB.
Frequency response is specified on axis at 1 m in a free field. The tolerance the figure is referenced to is stated alongside it; where no tolerance is given, the figure is the −6 dB bandwidth.
Sensitivity is specified at 1 W into the nominal impedance at 1 m on axis, averaged across the pass band of the enclosure.
Coverage angles are nominal −6 dB values averaged across the pass band. Per-octave directivity data is available from SSOUNDS system design support for prediction and modelling.
Recommended amplifier power is the amplifier output SSOUNDS specifies for this enclosure, driven with the SSOUNDS system preset. It guides amplifier selection and is not an AES power-handling rating for the transducers.
Nominal impedance is the manufacturer's rating for amplifier load calculation; minimum impedance across the operating band may be lower.
Net weight excludes packaging, flight case, accessories and optional rigging hardware.

Recommended: SSOUNDS D14X, one channel pair per XTO 8P in bi-amplified mode with the XTO 8P preset loaded. Typical deployments, 6 × XTO 8P per side over 2 × XTO S18: theatres, houses of worship and corporate AV. 4 × XTO 8P as downfill beneath an XTO 10P or 12P hang: front-fill for the first rows.
