What is the best speaker for a hotel in Vietnam?

A hotel in Vietnam needs a sound system that serves many spaces with different acoustic and functional demands: a lobby with high ceilings and glass, a restaurant and bar with ambient noise, a ballroom for events and speech, a spa where low levels and discretion matter, and conference rooms requiring high intelligibility. The right approach is not one speaker type but a carefully zoned system. SSOUNDS install range covers all these zones: CL6 and CL8 ceiling loudspeakers for distributed background music and paging, LC8.2 and LC16.2 slim column loudspeakers for spaces with hard reflective surfaces, P4, P5, P6T, P10T and P12T install loudspeakers for flexible mounting, and M series point-source boxes and subwoofers for the ballroom where higher SPL and full-range music are needed.

Selection starts with the zone's purpose. For background music and paging in lobbies, restaurants, spas and corridors, ceiling loudspeakers like the CL6 or CL8 give even coverage at low levels. In rooms with high ceilings or glass walls, slim column loudspeakers (LC8.2 or LC16.2) provide tighter vertical coverage and better intelligibility. For conference rooms and divisible ballrooms, P series (P4, P5, P6T, P10T, P12T) or M series point-source boxes offer higher SPL and controlled directivity. T models (P6T, P10T, P12T) run on 70/100 V lines for long cable runs and multiple speakers per channel, ideal for distributed systems. For the ballroom, combine M series full-range boxes with subwoofers for music and speech. All zones should be powered by A series networked amplifiers with DSP and Dante, allowing paging, background music and emergency messages from a single networked system.

Sizing and coverage: use manufacturer prediction software to model each zone. For ceiling speakers, spacing depends on ceiling height and desired coverage angle; typically, for background music, you can space them at 1.5 to 2 times the ceiling height above the listener's ear. For columns, mount them so the vertical coverage covers the audience area without excessive spill. For ballrooms, calculate SPL requirements based on program material (speech at 70-75 dB, music at 85-95 dB) and choose boxes and subwoofers accordingly. SSOUNDS engineers use AI-assisted acoustic modeling and machine-learning-tuned DSP to optimise every system before it ships, ensuring consistent coverage and intelligibility.

SSOUNDS designs and installs across Vietnam, with support from our offices in the United Kingdom, United States, Nigeria, Ghana and West Africa. We work with system integrators, consultants and hotel technical directors to specify the right mix of SSOUNDS loudspeakers and amplifiers.
