What is the best speaker for a school in Belfast?

Schools in Belfast require intelligible speech for young listeners, reliable paging, and simple control. SSOUNDS install loudspeakers cover these needs: the P4, P5, P6T, P10T and P12T (T models operate on 70/100 V lines), LC8.2 and LC16.2 slim column loudspeakers, CL6 and CL8 ceiling loudspeakers, M series point-source boxes and subwoofers, and A series networked amplifiers with DSP and Dante.

For corridors and general paging, ceiling loudspeakers such as the CL6 or CL8 on a 70/100 V line provide even coverage and tamper-resistant mounting. In assembly halls, slim column loudspeakers like the LC8.2 or LC16.2 deliver focused speech intelligibility, while sports halls benefit from point-source boxes like the SSOUNDS M series or P series for higher SPL and controlled coverage.

Selection and sizing depend on room volume, ceiling height, reverberation, and required SPL. SSOUNDS engineers use AI-assisted acoustic modeling to predict coverage and optimise loudspeaker placement, ensuring every space meets speech clarity targets. A series amplifiers with DSP and Dante offer networked control and simple wall controllers for staff.
