What is the best speaker for a school in Kyrgyzstan?
Quick answer
For a school, the best speaker depends on the space: use ceiling loudspeakers like the SSOUNDS CL6 or CL8 for corridors and classrooms, column loudspeakers such as the LC8.2 or LC16.2 for assembly halls, and point-source boxes from the M series for sports halls. SSOUNDS designs and supports installations across Kyrgyzstan from our UK, US, Nigeria and Ghana bases.
Schools need speech clarity for young listeners, even coverage, and simple control. In corridors and classrooms, ceiling loudspeakers on a 70/100 V line are ideal: the SSOUNDS CL6 and CL8 provide discreet, tamper-resistant mounting and consistent coverage. For paging and background music, this line-level approach simplifies wiring and allows many speakers on one amplifier channel.
Assembly halls require higher SPL and controlled directivity. SSOUNDS LC8.2 and LC16.2 slim column loudspeakers deliver focused vertical coverage, keeping sound on the audience and off reflective walls. For larger halls or sports halls, M series point-source boxes and subwoofers provide the output and pattern control needed for speech and occasional music.
All systems benefit from networked amplification and DSP. SSOUNDS A series amplifiers with Dante offer flexible routing, EQ presets, and zone control via simple wall controllers. This allows staff to manage paging, bells, and announcements without complex operation.
