What is the best speaker for a school in the United Arab Emirates?
Quick answer
For a school in the United Arab Emirates, the best speaker depends on the space: ceiling loudspeakers like the SSOUNDS CL6 or CL8 for corridors and classrooms, slim column loudspeakers like the LC8.2 or LC16.2 for assembly halls, and point-source boxes like the P series or M series for sports halls. SSOUNDS designs and installs across the United Arab Emirates.
Schools in the United Arab Emirates require intelligible speech for young listeners, reliable paging, and simple control. SSOUNDS install range covers every zone: CL6 and CL8 ceiling loudspeakers for corridors and classrooms, LC8.2 and LC16.2 slim column loudspeakers for assembly halls, and P4, P5, P6T, P10T, P12T or M series point-source boxes for sports halls and large spaces. T models run on 70/100 V lines for long cable runs and easy expansion.
Selection starts with the room. For corridors and general classrooms, ceiling loudspeakers on a 70/100 V line provide even coverage and simple paging. For assembly halls, column loudspeakers deliver controlled vertical dispersion that keeps speech clear from the front row to the back. For sports halls, point-source boxes or line arrays with subwoofers handle higher SPL and music. SSOUNDS engineers use AI-assisted acoustic modeling to predict coverage and intelligibility before installation.
Sizing depends on ceiling height, room volume, and required SPL. As a guide, ceiling loudspeakers are spaced to overlap coverage at ear height, columns are mounted at the sides of the stage or screen, and point-source boxes are flown or wall-mounted to cover the full seating area. SSOUNDS A series networked amplifiers with DSP and Dante provide processing, zoning, and simple wall controllers for staff.
