TEDx Enugu brought together innovators, thinkers and change-makers at the Enugu State Cultural Centre. SSOUNDS was engaged to design and operate the full AVL production — from the main stage PA and broadcast feed to the lighting rig and overflow room distribution.
System deployed: SSOUNDS XTO line array (left-right hang, 8 boxes per side), cardioid subwoofer configuration, SSOUNDS DSP-48 processing, Yamaha QL5 at FOH. The room's concrete ceiling and hard walls demanded careful tuning — we ran measurement passes with Smaart and achieved ±3dB coverage uniformity from front row to the back 40 metres.
Lighting: a full moving-head rig (wash + spot) on a 12m truss with a custom gobo package. Video: twin 12ft LED walls driven by an Analog Way Aquilon for seamless presenter slides and live camera feeds.
All three rooms ran simultaneously via an AES67 network — zero latency between the main stage audio and the overflow rooms. The event ran 6 hours without a single technical issue.
