COZA's Annual Convention is one of Nigeria's largest church gatherings, drawing over 15,000 worshippers to their Abuja campus over four days. SSOUNDS designed and operated the full audio production across the main auditorium and a tented outdoor overflow zone.
The brief was demanding: even, intelligible coverage from the front row of the main floor to the back of the outdoor tent 120 metres away — all with zero perceptible delay between zones. We deployed a large-format SSOUNDS line array system with dedicated cardioid subwoofer stacks, eight delay towers across the outdoor zone, and a distributed speaker network inside the lobby and corridors.
Processing ran on SSOUNDS DSP hardware with redundant signal paths. FOH console: Yamaha RIVAGE PM7. A dedicated broadcast mix was also provided for the live-stream feed.
Four days of multi-session programming ran without incident. The client reported the clearest convention audio in the event's history.
