Koinonia Global's annual convention is a multi-day gathering that draws worshippers from across Nigeria and the diaspora. SSOUNDS designed and operated the complete audio production for the event at the Jos International Trade Fair Complex.
The venue — a large open arena — presented significant challenges: no acoustic treatment, strong wind noise, and the need to cover 30,000 people spread across a wide outdoor space. The solution used a flown centre cluster for the main stage zone, with six ground-stacked delay towers pushing uniform coverage to the back of the site.
The worship-first character of the event demanded a system that could handle the full dynamic range — from quiet, intimate moments of prayer to full live-band worship with drums, guitars and a 200-piece choir. The system delivered consistent SPL from 90dB (prayer) to 108dB (worship peak) without compression artefacts.
All three days ran without incident.
