Pneumatikos 2025 filled National Stadium in Abuja, and SSOUNDS delivered the audio, lighting, LED and staging as one team. The photographs on the project page tell the story of the build in order: the daytime build, the drum riser, the stage at night, the stadium at night, the worship crowd, and the SSOUNDS mark on the LED wall.
One team for the whole stadium is the point. When the audio, the lighting, the LED and the stage come from separate companies, the stage build waits for a structural engineer from one, the rigging points are argued over with another, and the LED and the PA compete for the same truss. When one production company carries all four, the stage goes up first with the rigging planned for everything that will hang from it, and the rest follows in sequence.
A stadium bowl is a long throw with hard surfaces behind the crowd, so the arrays were aimed to cover the pitch and the seating without exciting the stands, and the subwoofers were distributed for an even low end. The LED wall carried the picture to the furthest seats, and the lighting was designed for the night sessions and for the cameras.
